Who We Are

Welcome to CWC East Valley!

We are a tuition-free, public charter elementary school serving the east San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. We opened our doors in August 2021, with Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten (K), and 1st grade and continue to add a grade level each year until we are serving students in grades TK-5. We are an inclusive and diverse community with a passion for project-based learning, social-emotional learning, and fostering the whole child. We are preparing our students to emerge as a new generation of leaders – as trailblazers who are ready to tackle the future challenges in our world and surpass the conceived limitations of what students, communities, parents, and schools can achieve in the world.

Citizens of the World Charter Schools Los Angeles

CWC East Valley is part of a network of charter schools across Los Angeles operated by Citizens of the World LA (CWC LA), a nonprofit organization governed by a local Board of Directors. The mission of CWC LA is to create an intimate network of high-achieving, community-based public schools for a diverse community of students, developing their abilities, confidence, and sense of responsibility for themselves and their community as true citizens of the world.
