Community Giving

Fundraising is a critical element to the success of our school  and the unique program we provide, including supporting our Teaching Associates, as well as our art, music, physical education, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) programs. Each CWC LA school sets a community giving goal and hosts campaigns and events to engage the community.

Annual Family Give

Annual Family Give (or AFG) is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps to cover the majority of funds in our annual fundraising goal. AFG is primarily geared towards our internal families to make one-time or recurring monthly donations throughout the school year.
You can check if your employer matches your donation here

The Walk-a-thon is our most student-centered fundraiser of the year in which all of our students walk and run with the support of the entire community. This is a peer-to-peer fundraiser where each student has their own fundraising page and can invite friends and family to donate to support their school.

Spring Auction & End of Year Party

The Spring Auction is an online fundraising campaign engaging our local community. Auction items can include gift cards to restaurants and businesses, services from businesses and families, and other exciting donated items!

If you want to donate via stock, please email for more information.

Community Giving enables CWC schools to secure necessary funding to fully implement our CWC learning model that we all love. 100% of funding raised through community giving stays at the school to support your child’s education. Community giving funds are needed to support all of the holistic programs that make CWC so unique, and support students as they build skills needed to lead across lines of difference, and work towards serving as true citizens of the world
